About Us

Positive Herbs is a herbal company based in Sidcup, Kent (London Borough of Bexley), being a husband and wife team, Marie and Roger Thomas. Our aim is to provide a personal service, tailored to the individual client's requirements. We set the company up in 1999, because we both have a big interest in Herbs  - using - making  and growing certain herbs. Our company name still reflects the way we wish to WORK and BE INVOLVED in Herbs.

With thorough Herbal consultations by Marie Thomas B.Sc (Hons), Member of College of Phytotherapy Practitioners, Dip Phyt who is fully insured for her work with clients. Marie keeps up to date with the latest developments by attending seminars and workshops to be able to provide clients with the best possible care and advice.

Roger (Member of the BHMA) organises the practice,  ordering in the stock requirements for the  company,  keeps the accounts up to date  and updates the web site .  Then when required ,  makes cream/s or ointment/s, sends off batches for testing when required - or fills capsules with the required herbs or rushing off to get  the clients requirements to the post office, if it needs to be sent.   Then in the evening, works on  formulations.

We  use a Professional  capsule filler, we must admit it makes capsule filling easy  and fast, so that we can keep clients supplied  easily, especially when they need them in a hurry....

We have been building creams and ointments for over 15 years and we have moved with what our clients require, natural and safe as possible. So that has changed the ingredients that we now use , so we have  destroyed  previously used preservatives, emulsifiers etc, that are now obsolete . So now we build creams  that we are proud of again, because they don't contain any chemicals that worry us.    Even our preservative is now what we consider to be safe and  natural , even our clients  find them better + TVC testing proves that.

BUT , remember trends are always changing, so there are always ingredients and methods  to be worked on - so it never stops because our clients are very demanding, some are Vegans.

We consider this to be  " best standards".

We have decided that we should give certain people a 20% discounts in herbal consultation fees,etc. See information on the Herbal consultation page + but we expect 24 hours notice of any cancellations, we consider this to be fair.
